Civil Society

The Water Fund works with civil society through Non-Governmental Organizations such as ONGAWA or Action Hunger. In 2022, the Fund presented, together with ONGAWA, the Tool for incorporating human rights to water and sanitation in municipal management after a first working session with the municipality of San Pedro, in Bolivia, to test its operation.

This tool allows small cities to review their compliance with the Human Rights to Water and Sanitation and establish a roadmap to achieve them progressively.
